Under section 140 of the Intellectual Disability (Compulsory Care and Rehabilitation) Act 2003, I appoint the following person as a compulsory care coordinator for the named geographical and operational areas listed below.

Central region, being the geographical area including the lower North Island

The appointment of the above-named person takes effect on the date this notice is published in the New Zealand Gazette and ends on 24 March 2020.

Notice of Extension of National Transition Period

Pursuant to section 94D of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, the Honourable Gerry Brownlee, give notice of an extension to the national transition period notified on 9 December 2016 at 1.00pm over the Kaikoura and Hurunui Districts, and the Wairau-Awatere ward of Marlborough District in relation to the 14 November 2016 earthquake.
