Under section 32(1)(b) of the Act, the Secretary for Justice has now paid out all of the money held in the trust account on behalf of Samuel Storm White.

Community Work Centre (North Street (Timaru)) Notice 2017

I, Louise Upston, Minister of Corrections, declare, under section 30 of the Corrections Act 2004, the land described in the Schedule and the buildings on that land to be a community work centre to be known as the North Street (Timaru) Community Work Centre, and revoke the Community Work Centre (North Street (Timaru)) Notice 1998 (SR 1998/195).

This notice takes effect from 23 February 2017.

Schedule

The following parcels of land in the Canterbury Land Registration District:

a. All that parcel of land in the Canterbury Land Registration District containing 1,784m2, more or less, being Lot 1 DP 236 and being all that land comprised and described in Computer Freehold Register CB24F/616; and

b. part of that parcel of land in the Canterbury Land Registration District containing 412m2, more or less, being Lot 1 DP 53599 and being all that land comprised and described in Computer Freehold Register CB31F/208.

Pursuant to section 256 of the Lawyers and Conveyancers Act 2006 (“Act”), notice is hereby given that on 26 November 2014 the New Zealand Lawyers and Conveyancers Disciplinary Tribunal ordered, pursuant to section 242(1)(c) of the Act, that the name of

Anthony Vincent Ram

be struck off the roll of barristers and solicitors.

On 26 September 2016 the High Court issued a minute confirming the appeal was struck out. Accordingly, the name of Anthony Vincent Ram has been struck off the roll of barristers and solicitors.
