District Court Judges Appointed
Pursuant to sections 5 and 5B of the District Courts Act 1947, and section 354(3) of the Criminal Procedure Act 2011, Her Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand has been pleased to appoint
James Douglas Large, Acting District Court Judge
to be a District Court Judge, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction within New Zealand, and to conduct jury trials pursuant to section 354(3) of the Criminal Procedure Act 2011, commencing on 10 February 2017.
Pursuant to section 5 of the District Courts Act 1947 and section 5(1) of the Family Courts Act 1980, Her Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand has been pleased to appoint
Antony Gladstone Mahon, Acting District Court Judge
to be a District Court Judge, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction within New Zealand, and to exercise the jurisdiction of the Family Courts, commencing on 13 February 2017.
