7. Records and Audit
a. The Motor Vehicle Trader is required to keep summary records of each section 241 enquiry for one year, from
the date on which register data was accessed.
b. The Motor Vehicle Trader must provide information to the Registrar of Motor Vehicles and in all other
respects assist with any audit of their access to name and address information.
8. Interpretation
Motor Vehicle Trader and Trader means a person or company who is registered under the Motor Vehicle
Sales Act 2003 to carry out the activities described in section 7 of that Act.
Wholesaler has the meaning given to that expression in section 6 of the Motor Vehicle Sales Act 2003.
9. Expiry—This notice expires at midnight on 31 October 2022 but may be revoked at any time either generally or
in relation to a specific Motor Vehicle Trader.
10. Revocation—The notice titled “Authorise Access to the Motor Vehicle Register (Motor Vehicle Traders –
Standard Terms) Notice 2017” dated 13 March 2017 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 16 March 2017,
Issue No. 29, Notice No. 2017-au1223, is revoked. Any confirmation that a Motor Vehicle Trader is covered by the
revoked notice is to be treated as confirmation of coverage by this notice.
This authorisation will not apply to any Motor Vehicle Trader who ceases to be registered as a motor vehicle
trader.

Notice of Proposed Sports Anti-Doping Rules (2018)
The Board of Drug Free Sport New Zealand proposes to make the Sports Anti-Doping Rules (2018) (“2018 Rules”)
under section 16 of the Sports Anti-Doping Act 2006. The 2018 Rules will amend the Sports Anti-Doping Rules
(2017).
It is proposed that the 2018 Rules incorporate by reference the following World Anti-Doping Agency International
Standards:
a. World Anti-Doping Agency 2018 List of Prohibited Substances and Methods.
b. World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for Therapeutic Use Exemptions, effective 1 January 2016.
c. World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for Testing and Investigations, effective 1 January 2017.
d. World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for Laboratories, effective 2 June 2016.
e. World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for the Protection of Privacy and Personal Information,
effective 1 January 2015.
