NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE, No. 100 — 28 SEPTEMBER 2017

Fisheries (Quota Aggregation Limit Exemption) Notice 2017 (Notice No. MPI 818)

Pursuant to section 60 of the Fisheries Act 1996, the Minister for Primary Industries, after complying with that section, gives the following notice.

Notice

Title—This notice is the Fisheries (Quota Aggregation Limit Exemption) Notice 2017.
Commencement—This notice shall come into effect on the day after its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
Exemption to quota aggregation limit—From the date that this notice comes into effect, consent is given for Fiordland Lobster Company Limited and its subsidiaries to hold quota shares for rock lobster up to the limit of 15,000,000 quota shares in each of the following quota management areas: CRA 4 (Wellington/Hawke’s Bay), CRA 7 (Otago) and CRA 8 (Southern).
Conditions—The consent given in clause 3 of this notice is subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 1.
