Notice of Exemption From Maritime Rules 31.4; 31.25(1); 31.25(2); 31.84(2)(b); 31.84(2)(b)(i); 31.84(4)(e), Table 14; 31.84(4)(f), Table 15; 32.10(1); 42B.20(10)
Pursuant to section 47(3) of the Maritime Transport Act 1994, the Director of Maritime New Zealand hereby notifies the granting, during the period from 29 August 2016 to 1 September 2016, of the following exemptions:

1 from Maritime Rule 31.4 – Crewing and Watchkeeping – Requirement to operate ships in accordance with this Part

3 from Maritime Rule 31.25(1) – Crewing and Watchkeeping – General crewing and other requirements – Duty of crew to hold certificates and to be able to demonstrate ancillary proficiencies – Specific certificate or endorsement or higher grade of certificate or endorsement

3 from Maritime Rule 31.25(2) – Crewing and Watchkeeping – General crewing and other requirements – Duty of crew to hold certificates and to be able to demonstrate ancillary proficiencies in accordance with Rule 32.16 and 32.170

1 from Maritime Rule 31.84(2)(b) – Crewing and Watchkeeping – Minimum crewing requirements for other ships – Seafarers holding minimum required certificates and minimum number of crew specified applicable table and flow-chart
