Pursuant to section 398(2) of the Food Act 2014, notice is given that the New Zealand (Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code) Food Standards 2002, Amendment No. 70 was issued by the Minister for Food Safety on 11 October 2016 and came into force on that date.

Climate Change (Appointment of Person to Hold Certain New Zealand Units) Notice 2016

Pursuant to section 73 of the Climate Change Response Act 2002 ("Act"), the Minister for Climate Change Issues gives the following notice.

Notice

  1. Title—This notice may be cited as the Climate Change (Appointment of Person to Hold Certain New Zealand Units) Notice 2016.

  2. Commencement—This notice takes effect from and including the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

  3. Change to Composition—On 21 April 2011 the Minister for Climate Change Issues appointed the Forestry Emission Unit Trust ("Trust") under section 73(1) of the Act. The functions of the Trust are to apply for an allocation of New Zealand units in respect of land specified in section 72(2)(b)(i)(A) of the Act, and to hold these units on trust for the future owners of the land.

I am now pleased to appoint

the Honourable Raymond Tau Henare

as a trustee of the Trust.
