Notice of Approval of Approved Code of Practice for Air Quality in the Extractives Industry

In accordance with section 223 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, WorkSafe New Zealand (“WorkSafe”) gives notice that the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety has approved the Approved Code of Practice for Air Quality in the Extractives Industry.

The approved code of practice will come into force 28 days after the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette and will be available on WorkSafe’s website

www.worksafe.govt.nz

The approved code of practice will be available for purchase in hardcopy, for a reasonable charge, and for inspection at WorkSafe’s office at Level 6, Customhouse Quay, Wellington 6011.
