Pursuant to the Marriage Act 1955, the Registrar-General of Marriages hereby gives notice as follows.

Notice

This notice may be cited as the Marriage (Approval of Organisations) Notice No. 13.
The organisation specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be an approved organisation changing its name for the purpose of the Marriage Act 1955.

Notification of Approval of Immigration Advisers Competency Standards 2016

Pursuant to section 38 of the Immigration Advisers Licensing Act 2007, I hereby give notice of approval of the Immigration Advisers Competency Standards 2016, which will come into effect on 1 October 2016.

The Immigration Advisers Competency Standards 2015 are revoked from the date these standards come into force. For the avoidance of doubt, the Immigration Advisers Competency Standards 2015 are the standards in force until the 2016 standards come into force.

The Competency Standards can be viewed and downloaded free from the Immigration Advisers Authority (“Authority”) website

www.iaa.govt.nz

Hard copies can be obtained by contacting the Authority on telephone 0508 422 422 (New Zealand only) or (09) 925 3838.

Corrigendum—Notice of Intention to Declare a Major Maritime Event

In the notice titled Notice of Intention to Declare a Major Maritime Event, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 18 August 2016, Issue No. 72, Notice No. 2016-go4597, in paragraphs 2(a) and (b), replace

“Queens Wharf”

with

“Princes Wharf”.

Any person may forward written comments on this corrigendum to Roger Brown (r.brown@transport.govt.nz), Ministry of Transport, PO Box 3175, Wellington, provided such comments are received no later than Monday 19 September 2016 at 5.00pm.

Comments are submitted on the presumption that they will be made public. If submitters do not wish this to occur, a statement to that effect should be made.
