Amendment to Education (Proposed Investment Plans: Content and Submission; Assessment Criteria; and Plan Summaries) Notice 2016

Pursuant to section 159R of the Education Act 1989, the notice with the above title published in the New Zealand Gazette, 5 May 2016, Issue No. 40, Notice No. 2016-au2496, is amended by replacing:

"31 October 2016"

with

"23 December 2016"

as the date that tertiary education organisations are notified of final funding decisions via confirmation of funding letters.

Approved Maritime Surveillance Equipment Under the Submarine Cables and Pipelines Protection Act 1996

Whereas, pursuant to section 441 of the Maritime Transport Act 1994 the Minister of Transport did delegate those powers under section 35 of the Submarine Cables and Pipelines Protection Act 1996 to Maritime New Zealand by an instrument of delegation dated 19 March 1997.

And whereas, pursuant to section 442 of the Maritime Transport Act 1994, Maritime New Zealand did delegate those powers under section 35 of the Submarine Cables and Pipelines Protection Act 1996 to the Director of
