- a. Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 (HSWA);

- c. approved codes of practice issued under the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992 or HSWA;
- d. safe work instruments made under the HSWA;
- e. Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996 ("HSNO Act");
- f. regulations made under the HSNO Act;
- g. Resource Management Act 1991;
- h. Crown Minerals Act 1991; and

Learning in other topics within these competencies will be treated as CPD as long as it is directly relevant to maintaining and enhancing skills and knowledge within the extractives industry.
Note 2: Subject to specific CPD requirements as set out in Table 2, holders may complete CPD in any combination of topics within the competencies.
