NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE, No. 60 — 30 JUNE 2016

Under clauses 18.2 and 18.6 of the Special Needs Grants Programme ("programme"), as established and approved on 18 December 1998* under section 124(1)(d) of the Social Security Act 1964, I extend the approvals given on 18 February 2015 for Part 6 of the programme to apply to specified farmers until the close of 28 February 2017.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the instrument but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This instrument extends, until 28 February 2017, the approvals under Part 6 of the Special Needs Grant Programme for rural assistance payments to be made to eligible farmers whose land based industries are affected by drought in parts of the following local authorities:

Ian Alexander McHardy, Family Court Judge of Auckland

to be Acting Principal Family Court Judge for the period commencing on 4 July 2016 and expiring on 29 July 2016.

Pursuant to section 23 of the Statistics Act 1975, I, The Right Honourable Sir Jerry Mateparae, Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim that Tuesday 6 March 2018 shall be the day on which the Census of Population and Dwellings shall be taken, and the time with reference to which the particulars shall relate shall be midnight between Tuesday 6 March 2018 and Wednesday 7 March 2018.
