Pursuant to section 114 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Kerry McPhail, Land Information New Zealand, declares the land described in the Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 88(2) of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989, becomes road, limited access road and State highway and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Notice Setting Apart Māori Land as a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338(1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of a meeting place, place for beneficiaries to stay and occupy, recreation ground, place of cultural, historical, or scenic interest and anything incidental or related to these purposes, provided that the use of the land is in accordance with all local and statutory authority requirements for the common use and benefit of the descendants of George Manning Moke Couch and Hinerua Riwai Couch.
