Section of State Highway: Northbound from the southern end of State Highway 2 to the gantry located approximately 1856m north-east of the north-eastern face of the central pier of the Ngauranga Flyover.

  • Amending line 736 in Schedule 2 to read:

    Section of State Highway: The southbound section of State Highway 2 from the gantry located approximately 1856m north-east of the north-eastern face of the central pier of the Ngauranga Flyover to the southern end of State Highway 2. The variable restriction may be imposed on part or all of this length in accordance with the signs displayed on each part.

    Speed limit: A variable speed limit of 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 or 100km/h applies from the point on the State highway at which a variable speed limit sign facing the road user is displayed to the point in the direction of travel on the State highway at which a traffic sign, or a variable speed sign, indicating that a different speed limit applies is installed.

    The speed limit that applies is:

    a. that indicated by the numerals displayed on the variable speed limit sign; or
    b. 100km/h, if the variable speed limit sign is blank.
