Reappointment of Public Service Chief Executive

Pursuant to sections 35 and 36 of the State Sector Act 1988, the State Services Commissioner has reappointed

Helene Elizabeth Quilter

as the Chief Executive and Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, from 1 July 2017 to 30 June 2018, following acceptance by the Governor-General in Council of the Commissioner’s recommendation.

Amendment to the Gambling Act (Class 4) Game Rules

The Gambling Act (Class 4) Game Rules have been amended pursuant to section 367 of the Gambling Act 2003.

The amendment has been made to allow for the use of Cash-In-Ticket-Out payment systems on Class 4 gaming machines.

The amendment will take effect on 10 June 2016.

Copies of the amendment may be obtained from the Department of Internal Affairs website www.dia.govt.nz or by writing to Gambling Compliance, Department of Internal Affairs, PO Box 805, Wellington 6140.
