Pursuant to section 26 of the Public Works Act 1981, I, Lieutenant General The Right Honourable Sir Jerry Mateparae, Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule to be taken for the functioning indirectly of a road and vested in the Crown on the 14th day after the date of the publication of this Proclamation in the New Zealand Gazette.

Classification of Part of Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977 and a delegated authority from the Minister of Conservation, the Christchurch City Council (formerly known as the Waimairi County Council by Local Government (Canterbury Region) Reorganisation Order 1989, New Zealand Gazette, 8 June 1989, No. 99, page 2296) resolved at its meeting on 10 March 2016 to classify the reserve described in the Schedule hereto as a local purpose (community buildings) reserve.
