Board of Trustees Election Extension Notice

Pursuant to clause 9(2) of the Sixth Schedule to the Education Act 1989, and acting with delegated authority from the Minister of Education, I hereby extend the period for closing the poll and all subsequent actions in accordance with the Education (School Trustee Elections) Regulations 2000 for the election of representatives for:

Hawera Christian School (1184).
Te Waka Unua School (684).
Te Wainui ā Rua School (559).

The elections must be held by 22 July 2016.

This notice takes effect on the day of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

Notice of Variation of a Scheduled International Air Service Licence

Further to a notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 21 April 2016, Issue No. 34, Notice No. 2016-go2281, and pursuant to section 87J(6) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, sections 28, 29 and 41 of the State Sector Act 1988, a delegation from the Minister of Transport dated 29 October 2013, and a sub-delegation from the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Transport dated 3 November 2013, I give notice that, having received an application from Air New Zealand Limited, the Minister of Transport has varied the Scheduled International Air Service Licence held by that airline to provide for the operation of three flights per week between Auckland, New Zealand, and Manila, the Philippines.

This variation took effect from 18 May 2016.

Notice Under the Animal Products Act 1999 (Notice No. MPI 632)

Pursuant to section 164 of the Animal Products Act 1999, notice is given of the issue on 26 May 2016 of the Animal Products (Overseas Market Access Requirements for Halal Assurances) Notice 2016, which comes into force on 1 June 2016.

A copy of the notice may be inspected free of charge at, or purchased from, the office of the Ministry for Primary Industries, Pastoral House, 25 The Terrace (PO Box 2526), Wellington.

Notice of Election for Members of the Kaipara District Council Pursuant to Section 258I of the Local Government Act 2002

On 7 May 2015, the Associate Minister of Local Government gave notice, pursuant to section 258I of the Local Government Act 2002, that the next triennial general election for members of the Kaipara District Council (scheduled for 17 October 2015) would be postponed.

The Associate Minister of Local Government now gives notice, pursuant to section 258I(3)(b) of the Local

Government Act 2002.
