Notice Under Section 148B of the Financial Advisers Act 2008

Pursuant to section 148B of the Financial Advisers Act 2008, the Financial Markets Authority on 20 May 2016 granted the exemptions contained in the Financial Advisers (Australian Qualified Advisers) Exemption Notice 2016, which comes into effect on 1 June 2016.

Rural Intersection Active Warning System Variable Speed Limit—Mill Road, Pukekohe East Road and Harrisville Road Intersection, Pukekohe East

Pursuant to clause 6.1 of the Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2003, clause 4.4(4) of the Land Transport Rule: Traffic Control Devices 2004, and delegations from the NZ Transport Agency, I, Glenn Bunting, Network Manager, approve a rural intersection active warning system variable speed limit on Mill Road and Pukekohe East Road at the intersection with Harrisville Road at Pukekohe East, in accordance with the conditions set out in this notice.

Conditions

  1. Variable speed limit

Auckland Transport and the Waikato District Council may set a variable speed limit of 70km/h on the sections of Mill Road and Pukekohe East Road in their respective jurisdictions, at the intersection with Harrisville Road at Pukekohe East, to manage the safety of traffic when vehicles are crossing or turning at the intersection.

  1. Operation of the variable speed limit

The variable speed limit, which must be displayed on variable speed limit signs, may operate when a vehicle is detected approaching the intersection on Harrisville Road or turning right on Pukekohe East Road and may continue to operate until those vehicles have cleared the intersection.
