Notice Stating Where Copies of the Statement of Proposal to Issue a Ban on the Installation of Foil Insulation into Residential Buildings with an Existing Electrical Installation are Available

Pursuant to section 29 of the Building Act 2004, I give notice that the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment is proposing to issue a ban on the installation of foil insulation into residential buildings with an existing electrical installation.

The Statement of Proposal can be downloaded free of charge from the Ministry’s website

I invite comment on the proposal contained in this notice by 5.00pm on Tuesday 24 May 2016.
