Investigator. For the purposes of this sub-Rule the day of racing is deemed to commence at 12.01am and to conclude after the last Race.

(b) A person must not administer an alkalinising agent, in any manner, to a horse which is engaged to run in any Race, trial or jump-out:

(i) at any time on the day of the scheduled Race, trial or jump-out and prior to the start of such event; and

(ii) at any time during the one Clear Day prior to 12.01am on the day of the scheduled Race, official trial, or jump-out.

Notice of the Final Determination on Assigning an Official Antarctic Geographic Name

Pursuant to sections 10(1), 21(2) and 25 of the New Zealand Geographic Board (Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa) Act 2008, the New Zealand Geographic Board Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa (“Board”) hereby gives notice of assigning a new Antarctic geographic name. The official Antarctic geographic name is specified in the Schedule below.

The Board’s final determination on this official Antarctic geographic name took effect on 7 March 2016.

Mount Cawley Mountain The highest peak on Separation Range, 2295m high, where the range is intersected by Retrospect Spur. Located east of Beardmore Glacier, between Hood Glacier and Canyon Glacier in the Transantarctic Mountains. Feature depicted on NZMS166 SV51-60/4 and USGS Reconnaissance SV51-60/4 1:250k topographic maps. 84°13’00”S latitude, 173°27’00”E longitude. New name for a feature not named.

Severance Taken and Easement Granted—State Highway 2, Papatawa, Woodville, Tararua District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Zak Sun, Land Information New Zealand:

a. Pursuant to section 119, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is to be taken for severance and shall vest in the Crown; and

b. Pursuant to section 48, declares the easement described in the Second Schedule to this notice is granted over the land described in the First Schedule to this notice upon the terms and conditions set out in the Third Schedule to this notice on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
