Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338(1) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of an urupā, to be known as Te Miringa Te Hau Māori Reservation for the common use and benefit of the owners and their beneficiaries.

Land Acquired for Road—State Highway 6, Eden Road and Aniseed Valley Road, Hope, Tasman District

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Jessica Enoka, Land Information New Zealand, declares, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, that the land described in the Schedule to this notice is acquired for road which, pursuant to section 88 of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989, becomes road, limited access road and State highway and vests in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Zak Sun, Land Information New Zealand:

a. Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road which shall vest in the New Plymouth District Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette; and

The General Assembly Library (on the right) was completed in 1899 and survived the 1907 fire. Now the oldest remaining original Parliament building, still used as the Parliamentary Library.
