Notice of Intention to Incorporate Material By Reference—Biosecurity Documents (Notice No. MPI 616)
Peter Thomson, Director Plants Food and Environment, Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI), acting under delegated authority from the Director-General of MPI, gives notice under section 142N(4) of the Biosecurity Act 1993 (“Act”) that, under section 142M of the Act, some or all of the following material, in whole or in part, is proposed for incorporation by reference, in one or more Biosecurity Documents made under the Act:
- Approved Biosecurity Treatments (MPI-STD-ABTRT). This document is available by request from MPI.
- New Zealand MPI Approved Disinfectants for General Transitional Facilities for Uncleared Goods. This document is available by request from MPI.
The following address is:
a. where comments on this proposal to incorporate material by reference are to be sent; and
b. where the material incorporated can be viewed free of charge.

Any written comment must be received by the Ministry for Primary Industries no later than 10 working days after the date of notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
Consultation on this proposal to incorporate material by reference is in addition to the usual process of consultation on any facility standard under section 39 of the Act.

Reappointments to the New Zealand Productivity Commission
Pursuant to section 28 and Schedule 5 of the Crown Entities Act 2004, I, the Right Honourable Dame Sian Elias, the Administrator of the Government, hereby reappoint
Murray Sherwin, of Wellington
as a member, Commissioner and Chair of the New Zealand Productivity Commission for a term of five years commencing on 31 January 2016 and ending on 30 January 2021; and
Dr Graham Scott, of Wellington
as a member and Commissioner of the New Zealand Productivity Commission for a term of three years commencing on 1 April 2016 and ending on 31 March 2019.
