Notice of Payment into Victims’ Claims Trust Account
Take notice that, pursuant to Part 2 of the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005, compensation awarded to
Samuel Storm White is required to be paid to the Secretary of Justice and the surplus after deductions is to be
held in trust on behalf of Samuel Storm White.
And that on 26 February 2016, $8,078.57 was paid into the victims’ claims trust account on behalf of Samuel
Storm White.
This money must be held in the trust account to enable any victims of Samuel Storm White to make claims
against it.
Any person that has been a victim of Samuel Storm White, in respect of an offence for which Samuel Storm
White was convicted in a Court of New Zealand, is entitled to make a claim against the money held in the trust
account on behalf of Samuel Storm White.
Claims by victims are not limited to the amount available in the trust account.
Claim forms, and information on how to make a claim, may be obtained from:

Appointment of Acting Judge of the Supreme Court
Pursuant to section 23 of the Supreme Court Act 2003, His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand, in
the name and on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen, has been pleased to appoint
The Honourable Sir Peter Blanchard, knzm, Retired Judge of the Supreme Court of New Zealand
an Acting Judge of the Supreme Court for a period commencing on 1 March 2016 and ending on 2 August 2017.

Notice of Dollar-Per-Stock-Unit Rate
Pursuant to section 23L(1)(a) of the Crown Pastoral Land Act 1998, I give notice of dollar-per-stock-unit rates
calculated using the method specified in the Crown Pastoral Land (Method for Calculating Dollar-Per-Stock-Unit
Rates) Regulations 2012 (as amended by the Crown Pastoral Land (Method for Calculating Dollar-Per-Stock-Unit
Rates) Amendment Regulations 2012).
For the purposes of Part 1A of the Crown Pastoral Land Act 1998, the dollar-per-stock-unit rate for pastoral leases
with rent review date of 1 July 2016 is $8.60.
