Pursuant to section 556 of the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013, the Financial Markets Authority on 3 March 2016 granted the exemptions contained in the Financial Markets Conduct (AMP Wealth Management New Zealand Limited – Australian Registers) Exemption Notice 2016.

Determination of New Organism

Pursuant to section 26 of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996 (“Act”), the Environmental Protection Authority hereby determines that

human T lymphocyte cells transfected with messenger RNA

do not fulfil the definition of a genetically modified organism detailed in the Act, and therefore are not new organisms for the purposes of the Act.
