Notice of Variation of a Scheduled International Air Service Licence

Further to notices published in the New Zealand Gazette, 10 December 2015, Issue No. 135, Notice No. 2015-go7269 and the New Zealand Gazette, 14 January 2016, Issue No. 1, Notice No. 2016-go78, and pursuant to section 87J(6) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, sections 28, 29 and 41 of the State Sector Act 1988, a delegation from the Minister of Transport dated 29 October 2013, and a sub-delegation from the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Transport dated 3 November 2013, I give notice that, having received applications from Air New Zealand Limited, the Minister of Transport has varied the Scheduled International Air Service Licence held by that airline to provide for own aircraft operations to Viet Nam and facilitate new route and capacity opportunities in relation to French Polynesia.

The variation took effect from 15 February 2016.

Notice of Granting of a Scheduled International Air Service Licence

Pursuant to section 87N(4) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, sections 41(1) and 42 of the State Sector Act 1988, and to a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 10 September 2013, notice is given that, having received an application from Swiss International Air Lines Limited, Switzerland, Martin Thomas Harold Matthews, Secretary for Transport in the Ministry of Transport, has granted the airline a Scheduled International Air Service Licence to carry on code-share services to and from New Zealand.

The licence, which is for an indefinite term, took effect from 11 February 2016.
