NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE, No. 121 — 22 DECEMBER 2016

Levy for United Wheatgrowers (NZ) Limited

Pursuant to section 3 of the Commodity Levies (Wheat Grain) Order 2016 ("Order"), a levy has been imposed on and shall be payable by the producers of any wheat grain grown in New Zealand for sale or processing.

In accordance with section 11(1) of the Order, United Wheatgrowers (NZ) Limited has determined the rate of levy to be $4.25 + GST per tonne.

In accordance with section 2 of the Order, the period that this levy rate shall apply is 1 February 2017 to 31 January 2018 (both dates inclusive).

Levy for United Wheatgrowers (NZ) Limited Research Trust

Pursuant to section 10 of the Wheat Industry Research Levies (WIR) Act 1989 ("Act"), and pursuant to section 6 of the Act, United Wheatgrowers (NZ) Limited have determined the rate of levy to be zero.

In accordance with section 2 of the Act, the period that this levy rate shall apply is 1 February 2017 to 31 January 2018 (both dates inclusive).

Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians (Fees) Notice 2017

Pursuant to section 130 of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003, the following notice is given.

Notice

Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians (Fees) Notice 2017.

(2) This notice comes into force on 25 January 2017 and applies to fees payable in respect of applications relating to the period on and after 1 April 2017.

Fees—The Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Board sets the following fees, payable to the Board, specified in the attached Schedule.
Tax—Fees are inclusive of goods and services tax.

Application for an annual or interim practising certificate – for practitioners on the Registers of Optometrists or Dispensing Opticians holding a practising certificate in the year 1 April to 31 March who apply for a certificate for the following year after the expiration of their current practising certificate (after 31 March) and who are still practising after 31 March (in addition to APC fee)
