Appointments and Reappointments to the WorkSafe New Zealand Board
Pursuant to section 28(1)(a) of the Crown Entities Act 2004 and section 7(1) of the WorkSafe New Zealand Act 2013, the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety has appointed
Stephen Reindler, of Auckland
Nikki Davies-Colley, of Whangarei
as members of the WorkSafe New Zealand Board for terms commencing on 16 December 2016 and expiring on 15 December 2019; and reappointed
Ross Wilson, of Wellington
as Deputy Chair and a member of the WorkSafe New Zealand Board for a term commencing on 16 December 2016 and expiring on 15 December 2019; and
Gregor Coster, of Auckland
as Chair and a member of the WorkSafe New Zealand Board for a term commencing on 16 December 2016 and expiring on 15 March 2018.

Revocation of Approval of Code of Ethical Conduct (Notice No. MPI 714)
Pursuant to section 96 of the Animal Welfare Act 1999, I hereby give notice that the application from GE Healthcare Tauranga Limited (formerly Thermo Fisher Scientific Tauranga Limited) requesting revocation of the Code of Ethical Conduct held by them (New Zealand Gazette, 9 January 2014, No. 1, page 37), has been approved, effective as at the date of this notice.

Notice of Direction to Appoint a Limited Statutory Manager for the Combined Board of Trustees for Lauriston School (3407) and Mount Hutt College (348)
Under section 78M of the Education Act 1989, with delegated authority from the Minister of Education, I hereby direct the appointment of a limited statutory manager for the Lauriston School (3407) and Mount Hutt College (348) Combined Board of Trustees.
The following functions, powers and duties of the combined board in relation to Lauriston School (3407) are to be vested in a limited statutory manager:
- All functions, powers and duties of the combined board in relation to Lauriston School (3407) to manage communications (whether statutory or otherwise); and
- all functions, powers and duties of the combined board in relation to Lauriston School (3407) as an employer (whether statutory or otherwise).
The board will retain its primary duty of care as a person conducting a business or undertaking, under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, above and beyond all functions, powers and duties of this limited statutory manager.
This notice takes effect on the date of publication.
