NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE, No. 1 — 14 JANUARY 2016

  • between 1 November 2002 and 31 March 2003 (inclusive);
  • between 1 May 2003 and 30 September 2004 (inclusive); and
  • between 1 January 2005 and 31 October 2013 (inclusive).
  1. This declaration supersedes the declarations of emergency service under the War Pensions Act 1954 for service:
  • as part of the United Nations Monitoring, Verification and Inspection Commission, which was made by the Honourable Nathan Guy on 25 June 2012; and
  • as part of the United Nations Mine Action Service programme and Task Group Rake, which was made by the Honourable George Hawkins on 5 November 2003.
  1. This declaration covers:
  • members of the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) serving with the NZDF;
  • members of the NZDF on secondment with the armed forces of other nations; and
  • any person seconded to the NZDF with the permission of the Chief of Defence Force.
  1. The persons covered by this declaration shall have access to the entitlements and services specified in the Act and the Veterans’ Support Regulations 2014.

  2. I am satisfied that there was a significant risk of harm to those that undertook this service, as required by the Act.

Notice of Intention to Consider Varying a Scheduled International Air Service Licence

Pursuant to section 87J(3) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, sections 41(1) and 42 of the State Sector Act 1988, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 10 September 2013, I give notice that, having received an application from Air New Zealand Limited, the Minister of Transport intends to consider varying the Scheduled International Air Service Licence held by that airline in order to provide for open skies rights with respect to French Polynesia.

Any person wishing to make representations to the Minister of Transport relating to this application must forward those representations in writing to reach me at the Ministry of Transport, PO Box 3175, Wellington, on or before 5 February 2016.

Pursuant to section 256 of the Lawyers and Conveyancers Act 2006 (“Act”), notice is hereby given that on 28 September 2015 the High Court formally issued a judgment which recorded the appeal against an order made by the New Zealand Lawyers and Conveyancers Disciplinary Tribunal, pursuant to section 242(1)(e) of the Lawyers and Conveyancers Act 2006, that
