a. One person appointed in writing by the Buller District Council under the signature of its Chief Executive; and
b. one person appointed in writing by the Grey District Council under the signature of its Chief Executive; and
c. one person appointed in writing by the Westland District Council under the signature of its Chief Executive; and
d. one person appointed in writing by the Department of Conservation, under the signature of its Director-General; and
e. one person appointed in writing by the New Zealand Forest Owners Association as a member representing forest owners in the district, under the signature of its President; and
f. one person appointed in writing by the Chief Executive of the New Zealand Fire Service; and
g. one person appointed by the committee as an independent member with recognised governance experience. The independent member will have the same rights as other members of the committee. The term of appointment will be in accordance with the Forest and Rural Fires Regulations 2005.
(2) This clause shall be read together with and be deemed to be part of the principal notice.

Notice of Intention to Consult on Proposed Revocation of Approved Code of Practice
The Chief Executive of WorkSafe New Zealand (WorkSafe) proposes to apply for approval from the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety to revoke an approved code of practice (ACOP) pursuant to section 20A of the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992.
The ACOP proposed to be revoked is the ACOP for Safety in Excavation and Shafts for Foundations (September 1995).
It is proposed that this ACOP will be superseded by the good practice guidelines (GPG) Excavation Work, when the GPG is published.
WorkSafe will consult with industry and the public, through the WorkSafe website, regarding the proposed revocation of the ACOP.

Notification of Commencement of Review of the Mobile Termination Access Service Standard Terms Determination
The Commerce Commission (“Commission”) gives notice that it has commenced a review of the Mobile Termination Access Service Standard Terms Determination under section 30R of the Telecommunications Act 2001 (“Act”).
Under section 30R(1) of the Act, the Commission may, on its own initiative, commence a review, at any time, of all or any of the terms specified in a standard terms determination.
This review is limited to considering whether to omit or amend the monitoring requirements set out in the Standard Terms Determination for the designated services of the mobile termination access services (MTAS) fixed-to-mobile voice (FTM), mobile-to-mobile voice (MTM) and short messaging services (SMS) (Commerce Commission Decision 724, 5 May 2011).
