Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Permissions/Statutory Land Management Manager, Dunedin Shared Service Centre, Department of Conservation, vests the land described the Schedule in the Hutt City Council in trust for local purpose (community purposes) reserve.

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Jessica Enoka, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for scenic reserve purposes and shall vest in the Wellington City Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
