NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE, No. 83 — 30 JULY 2015

Under Part VII of the Public Trust Act 2001

WHEREAS:

  1. Hugh Williams ("the owner") is the registered owner of the property mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

  2. Public Trust has been informed and believes after due enquiry that the owner is no longer resident in New Zealand and it is not known where the owner of the property is or whether or not the owner of the property is alive or dead.

  3. After due enquiry Public Trust does not know whether the owner of the property has any agent or administrator in New Zealand with authority to take possession of and administer the property; or where the agent or administrator is; or whether the agent or administrator is alive or dead.

  4. The gross value of the property (as estimated by Public Trust) does not exceed $40,000.00.

  5. Public Trust is satisfied that it is advisable in the interests of another person that Public Trust elects to be the manager of the property under Part VII of the Public Trust Act 2001.

  6. Public Trust has advertised its intention to elect to be the manager of the property in the 6 July 2015 edition of the Otago Daily Times, which is a newspaper circulating in the locality where the property is situated and believed by Public Trust to be an appropriate advertising medium.

Now therefore Public Trust, in exercise of the authority conferred on it by section 101(1) of the Public Trust Act 2001, hereby elects to be manager of the property under Part VII of the Act.

Schedule

Part Section 2 Block I Otokia Survey District ("the property") and being the land contained in Deeds Index P600, Deed Register, volume 17, page 982.

This piece of land is located on the corner of Brighton Road and Trecastell Street, Brighton.

Notice of Meeting of Creditors

Pursuant to Section 243 of the Companies Act 1993

Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the creditors of SOUTHERN DISTRICTS BEDDING LIMITED (in liquidation) has been requested pursuant to section 245(1)(b)(iii) of the Companies Act 1993.

The meeting of creditors is to be held at the offices of Murray G. Allott, Chartered Accountant, 14B Leslie Hills Drive, Riccarton, Christchurch, on Monday 3 August 2015 commencing at 9.00am.

The business to be conducted at the creditors’ meeting is as follows:

a. to confirm the appointment of Murray G. Allott, chartered accountant, as liquidator;

b. should the appointment of Murray G. Allott not be confirmed then to appoint a replacement liquidator;

c. to inform the creditors of progress with the liquidation; and

d. to convey the views of creditors to the liquidator on any matter arising.

The following resolutions will be submitted to the meeting:

Resolution A – That the appointment of Murray G. Allott, chartered accountant of Christchurch, as liquidator be confirmed.

Resolution B – That should the appointment of Murray G. Allott not be confirmed that Daran Nair, chartered
