NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE, No. 71 — 2 JULY 2015

The matters addressed by the Draft Transition Recovery Plan include, but are not limited to:

  • An overview of the current state of the recovery from the effects of the Canterbury earthquakes. This includes context of what has been achieved so far in the recovery and what is still to be achieved.
  • Recovery result areas for central government.
  • An overview of central government recovery functions proposed to continue after 18 April 2016, and how they will be delivered.

Written comments on the Draft Transition Recovery Plan must be received by 5.00pm on Thursday 30 July 2015.
The written comments will be considered by the Minister along with the requirements of the Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Act 2011 before deciding whether to approve the Recovery Plan (with or without changes).
The Draft Transition Recovery Plan is available on the CERA website
www.cera.govt.nz

Reference copies of the Draft Transition Recovery Plan will be available from Friday 3 July 2015 at the Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority’s office at Level 8, HSBC Tower, 62 Worcester Boulevard, Christchurch, and libraries and service centres in the districts of the Christchurch City Council, Selwyn District Council and Waimakariri District Council.

Any person or organisation may make comments on the Draft Transition Recovery Plan.

Rate of Levy Under the Wine (Grape Wine Levy) Order 2010

Pursuant to Article 9 of the Wine (Grape Wine Levy) Order 2010, it was resolved at a board meeting of the Wine Institute of New Zealand Incorporated on 18 June 2015 that the levy rate to apply to sales of grape wine, or the grape wine component of grape wine products, from 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2016 be fixed at the rate of 2.25 cents per litre.
