10.25(1) of the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010 (“Code”) to ensure there is one or more metering
installations for a network supply point (“NSP”) that is not a point of connection to the grid and that all electricity
conveyed at its NSP FND0112NELSNP is quantified in accordance with the Code.

  1. Term—This exemption expires at the close of 3 July 2020.

  2. Reasons for granting the exemption—The reasons for granting this exemption are:

a. the exemption meets the requirements in section 11(2) of the Act for granting exemptions;

b. Nelson has proposed a materially accurate method to calculate consumption for settlement if the
interconnection point is used;

c. Nelson will incur unreasonable expenditure in order to comply; and

d. the exemption will have only a minor impact on any other participant or service provider, and will not affect
any other Code provisions.
