Corrigendum—Consent to the Distribution of New Medicines

Pursuant to section 20 of the Medicines Act 1981, the Minister of Health granted consent to the distribution in New Zealand of the new medicine listed in the Schedule to a notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 11 June 2015, Issue No. 65, Notice No. 2015-go3359.

This corrigendum amends the notice by replacing the entry:

Designation of Auditors

Pursuant to section 32 of the Health and Disability Services (Safety) Act 2001 (“the Act”), I, Dr Don Mackie, Chief Medical Officer, Clinical Leadership, Protection and Regulation, Ministry of Health, under delegation from the Director-General of Health, and being satisfied that the criteria under section 34 of the Act are met, designate Leslie McCullough and Ann Marie Bailey to audit the provision or likely future provision of the following kinds of health care services:

  • Hospital care services (as defined in section 4(1) of the Act), that are:
    • children’s health services;
    • geriatric services;
    • maternity services;
    • medical services;
    • mental health services;
    • surgical services;
  • Rest home care services (as defined in section 6(2) of the Act); and
  • Residential disability services (as defined in section 4(1) of the Act), that are:
    • intellectual;
    • physical;
    • psychiatric;
    • sensory.

This designation is subject to the following conditions:

  1. The designated auditors must comply with the requirements of the Designated Auditing Agency Handbook
