Revoking State Highway and Declaring Sections of State Highway—State Highway 2, Western Bay of Plenty

Pursuant to section 103 of the Land Transport Management Act 2003, the General Manager for Highway and Network Operations, NZ Transport Agency, gives notice with effect from 26 June 2015, that:

  1. the section of State Highway 2 described in the First Schedule is revoked; and
  2. the section of new road described in the Second Schedule is declared to be State Highway 2.

First Schedule

Part of State Highway 2 in Western Bay of Plenty, commencing at RP 100/5.39 and following the previous alignment of State Highway 2 in a generally easterly direction to finish at RP 100/5.50, a distance of approximately 0.11 kilometres.

Second Schedule

Part of State Highway 2 in Western Bay of Plenty, commencing at new RP 100/5.15 in a generally easterly direction to finish at new RP 100/5.43, a distance of approximately 0.28 kilometres.

Revoking State Highway and Declaring Sections of State Highway—State Highways 2A and 29, Tauranga

Pursuant to section 103 of the Land Transport Management Act 2003, the General Manager for Highway and Network Operations, NZ Transport Agency, gives notice that:

  1. with effect from 1 July 2015 the section of State Highway 2A described in the First Schedule is revoked; and
  2. with effect from 1 August 2015 the section of existing road described in the Second Schedule is declared to be State Highway 29.

First Schedule

The section of State Highway 2A in Tauranga, commencing at RP 0/0.01 at the west side of the intersection with Cameron Road, and following the previous alignment of State Highway 2A in a generally southerly direction to finish at RP 0/4.00, a distance of approximately 3.00 kilometres.

Second Schedule

The section of existing road known as Takitimu Drive, commencing at RP 15/0.00 at a point where the State Highway 2 off-ramp concludes, following a generally south-westerly direction to finish at RP 19/0.00, a distance of approximately 3.67 kilometres.
