44°35’S Latitude, 173°55’E Longitude. Located approximately 100km southeast of Banks Peninsula. Reaches depths of 1000m on the outer continental slope. Depicted on Banks Chart©, Herzer, 1977.

37°04’19.8’’S Latitude, 176°32’57.6’’E Longitude. A northeast trending channel northeast of Mayor Island (Tuhua) in outer Bay of Plenty. Reaches a depth of 1200m at its northern end, and shallows to 950m at the southern end. Depicted on Bay of Plenty Chart©, Wright, 1989.
