New Zealand Teachers Council Rules Notice
Pursuant to section 139AJ of the Education Act 1989, the New Zealand Teachers Council has published the following rules:
- The New Zealand Teachers Council (Conduct) Amendment Rules 2015.
These rules come into force on 1 July 2015 and amend the New Zealand Teachers Council (Conduct) Rules 2004.

Amendments to the New Zealand Rules of Racing
Pursuant to section 29 or section 34 of the Racing Act 2003, New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing Incorporated has made the following changes to the Rules of Racing which come into effect on 15 May 2015.
Industry consultation has taken place on these amendments and NZTR’s Board of Directors has sought the views of the Judicial Control Authority and the New Zealand Racing Board Dates Committee.
The Judicial Control Authority and the New Zealand Racing Board Dates Committee have approved these amendments.
Deleted words are struck-out and added words are shown in red and underlined.
These amendments to the Rules of Racing are as follows:

APPLICATION, INTERPRETATION AND DEFINITIONS

In these Rules, unless the context requires otherwise:

Prohibited Substance means any substance as declared in the Fourth Appendix to these Rules Prohibited Substance Regulations.
Prohibited Substance Regulations means the regulations made by NZTR containing prohibited substances.
...
Rules means these Rules of Racing, being the rules made by NZTR for the purposes of section 29 of the Racing Act 2003, including any amendments to the Rules made under section 29 30 of the Racing Act 2003 and any regulations, directions, policies, guidelines and practices made under Rule 106.
REGULATIONS AND OTHER ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS

NZTR may make or issue the following under these Rules:
(a) regulations;
(b) directives;
(c) policies;
(d) guidelines;
(e) practices,
all of which must be followed by those bound by the Rules and form part of these Rules.
