Rules About Authorised Property
I, Jeremy Lightfoot, National Commissioner of the Department of Corrections and holder of the delegated powers of the Chief Executive of the Department of Corrections, hereby give notice that on 18 May 2015 I will make rules, under section 45A of the Corrections Act 2004, declaring the items of property that prisoners may be issued with or allowed to keep and imposing conditions that attach to those items.
The rules will be published on the Department of Corrections’ website
The rules will be available for inspection at:
- the reception of the Department of Corrections’ National Office at 44–52 The Terrace, Wellington, and
- the visitors’ reception area of every prison site.
Copies of the rules may be obtained, free of charge, from the website, National Office reception and the visitors’ reception area of every prison site.
