Notice of Intention to Apply for Approval of Code of Practice
Pursuant to sections 78 and 79 of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996 ("HSNO Act"), the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) advises that it approved on 19 April 2015 the Code of Practice HSNOCOP 67 Version 1 Portable Containers for Petrol - Complying with ASTM F852-08.
This code of practice has been developed by the Environmental Protection Authority and provides a means of compliance with Regulation 11 of the Hazardous Substances (Packaging) Regulations as varied by Schedule 6 of the Hazardous Substances (Dangerous Goods and Scheduled Toxic Substances) Transfer Notice 2004 (as amended).
Pursuant to section 80(1) of the HSNO Act, this code may be inspected on request at the EPA, Grant Thornton House, 215 Lambton Quay, Wellington.
Pursuant to section 80(1)(b) of the HSNO Act, the code is available from the EPA website

Notice of Approval of Unique Emissions Factors
The Environmental Protection Authority approved the use of the following unique emissions factors in the New Zealand Emissions Trading Scheme, under section 91 of the Climate Change Response Act 2002 and in accordance with the Climate Change (Unique Emissions Factors) Regulations 2009:
