Notice of Approval of Code of Practice

Pursuant to sections 78 and 79 of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996 (“HSNO Act”), WorkSafe New Zealand advises that it approved, on 28 April 2015, the Code of Practice HSNOCOP 64 Version 1 Butane Vapour Detection at The New Zealand Refining Company site, Port Marsden Highway, Ruakaka.

This code of practice has been developed by The New Zealand Refining Company Limited and provides a means of compliance with the section 77A control, 60A; inserted after Regulation 60 of the Hazardous Substances (Class 1 to 5 Controls) Regulations 2001 for butane (approval HSR000989).

Pursuant to section 80(1) of the HSNO Act, this code may be inspected on request at WorkSafe New Zealand, Level 6, 86 Customhouse Quay, Wellington 6011.

Pursuant to section 80(1)(b) of the HSNO Act, the code is available from the WorkSafe website

In accordance with section 34(2) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, notice is hereby given that the Associate Minister of Transport signed the following ordinary Civil Aviation Rules on 8 April 2015 which will come into force on 1 August 2015:
