NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE, No. 41 — 23 APRIL 2015

Pursuant to section 65ZD(3) of the Public Finance Act 1989, the Minister of Finance makes the following statement:

“On 13 April 2015, the Deputy Secretary, Financial Operations and Head of NZDMO acting for and on behalf of the Honourable Bill English, Minister of Finance on behalf of the Crown, provided a New Zealand Export Credit Office General Contract Bond Guarantee to ANZ Bank New Zealand Limited to support the issue of a Performance Security in the form of an irrevocable transferable standby letter of credit on behalf of a New Zealand exporter. The New Zealand Export Credit Office maximum guarantee liability is USD 12,000,000. A premium, commensurate with the risk, will be paid for this Guarantee.”

Declaration of Operational Service for the Purposes of the Veterans’ Support Act 2014

In accordance with section 9 of the Veterans’ Support Act 2014 (“the Act”), I hereby give the following notice.

Notice

I declare service within the territorial limits of the Republic of Iraq and the air space above it on or after 4 November 2014 to 31 December 2017 to be operational service for the purposes of the Act.
All members of the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF), and any person seconded to the NZDF with the permission of the Chief of the Defence Force, covered by this declaration shall have access to the entitlements and services specified in the Act and the Veterans’ Support Regulations 2014.
I am satisfied that there is a significant risk of harm to those that undertake this service, as required by the Act.

Notice of Direction to Appoint a Limited Statutory Manager for the Mangateretere School (2599) Board of Trustees

Under section 78M of the Education Act 1989, with delegated authority from the Minister of Education, I hereby direct the appointment of a limited statutory manager for the Mangateretere School (2599) Board of Trustees.

The following functions, powers and duties of the board are to be vested in a limited statutory manager:

All functions, powers and duties of the board as an employer (whether statutory or otherwise);
all functions, powers and duties of the board in curriculum management including teaching and assessment practice (whether statutory or otherwise); and
all functions, powers and duties of the board to manage financial operations (whether statutory or otherwise).

This notice takes effect on the day of publication.
