Notice of Intention to Take an Existing Coal Estate for Road and the Functioning Indirectly of a Road—Huntly Section of the Waikato Expressway, Waikato District
Notice is hereby given that the Minister for Land Information proposes to take, under the Public Works Act 1981, the existing coal estate created by Conveyance 125549 (R45/665) recorded in Computer Freehold Register SA557/4 ("coal estate") over the land described in the Schedule hereto ("land").
The coal estate in the land is required for the Huntly Section of the Waikato Expressway and, more particularly, the coal estate in the land in the First Schedule will be taken for road, and in the Second Schedule for the functioning indirectly of a road.
The land firstly, secondly and thirdly described in the Second Schedule will subsequently be declared functioning indirectly of a road (segregation strip), and part of the land fourthly and fifthly described will be declared road.
The Waikato Expressway will provide a continuous four-lane carriageway between the Bombay Hills and south of Cambridge.
The owners of the coal estate and those persons with a registered interest in the coal estate have been served with notice of the Minister for Land Information’s intention to take the coal estate and advised of their right to object.
Any other person having the right to object may send a written objection to the Registrar, Environment Court, Level 2, 41 Federal Street, Auckland 1010, or by post to PO Box 7147, or DX CX10086, Auckland, within 20 working days.
