Notice of Consent by the Secretary to the Treasury—Pursuant to Section 17(a)(ii) of the Land Transfer Amendment Act 1963
I, William Henry David More, Senior Solicitor, acting under delegated authority from the Secretary to the Treasury, hereby consent, pursuant to section 17(a)(ii) of the Land Transfer Amendment Act 1963, to applications by M. H. Brown, G. S. Brown, A. R. McDonald and D. L. Hawkins for the issue of certificates of title under the Land Transfer Act 1952, on the grounds that the applicants have been in continuous possession within the meaning in section 3 of the Land Transfer Amendment Act 1963, of Lots 1-3 LT 4673000 described in Computer Freehold Register WN30/70, currently registered in the name of the Colonists Land and Loan Corporation Limited.

Notice of Payment into Victims’ Claims Trust Account
Take notice that, pursuant to Part 2 of the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005, compensation awarded to Brendon Douglas Forrest is required to be paid to the Secretary for Justice, and the surplus after deductions is to be held in trust on behalf of Brendon Douglas Forrest.
And that on 8 August 2014, $1,000.00 was paid into the victims’ claims trust account on behalf of Brendon Douglas Forrest.
This money must be held in the trust account to enable any victims of Brendon Douglas Forrest to make claims against it.
A further $1,000.00 was paid into the victims’ claims trust account on behalf of Brendon Douglas Forrest on 22 October 2014.
As per section 28(2)(c) of the Act, the total sum of $2,000.00 will be held in the trust account until the deadline specified below.
A further $1,500.00 was paid into the victims’ claims trust account on behalf of Brendon Douglas Forrest on 23 March 2015.
As per section 28(2)(c) of the Act, the total sum of $3,500.00 will be held in the trust account until the deadline specified below.
Any person that has been a victim of Brendon Douglas Forrest, in respect of an offence for which Brendon Douglas Forrest was convicted in a Court of New Zealand, is entitled to make a claim against the money held in the trust account on behalf of Brendon Douglas Forrest.
Claims by victims are not limited to the amount available in the trust account.
