Approval of Brake Testing Device

Pursuant to subclause 4.6(1) of Land Transport Rule: Light-vehicle Brakes 2002 (“the Rule”), and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by the NZ Transport Agency, I, Stephen Arthur Bullôt, Senior Engineer, Technical Support, hereby approve the brake testing device specified in the Schedule to this notice for the purpose of measuring brake forces of vehicles to establish compliance with the requirements for light-vehicle brakes contained in the Rule for both Warrant of Fitness and Certificate of Fitness “A” when fitted with load cells and software to calculate brake efficiency.

Pursuant to subclause 4.6(1) of Land Transport Rule: Light-vehicle Brakes 2002 (“the first Rule”), and subclause 10.6(1) of Land Transport Rule: Heavy-vehicle Brakes 2006 (“the second Rule”), and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by the NZ Transport Agency, I, Stephen Arthur Bullôt, Senior Engineer, Technical Support, hereby approve the brake testing device specified in the Schedule to this notice for the purpose of measuring brake forces of vehicles to establish compliance with the requirements for light-vehicle and heavy-vehicle brakes to a maximum GVM of 8000kg, to establish compliance with the requirements contained in the Rules for Warrant of Fitness and Certificate of Fitness “A” and “B”.
