Notice of Direction to Appoint a Limited Statutory Manager for the Sir Edmund Hillary Collegiate Senior School (97), Sir Edmund Hillary Collegiate Middle School (1217) and Sir Edmund Hillary Collegiate Junior School (1251) Combined Board of Trustees

Under section 78M of the Education Act 1989, with delegated authority from the Minister of Education, I hereby direct the appointment of a limited statutory manager for the Sir Edmund Hillary Collegiate Senior School (97), Sir Edmund Hillary Collegiate Middle School (1217) and Sir Edmund Hillary Collegiate Junior School (1251) Combined Board of Trustees.

The following functions, powers and duties of the board are to be vested in a limited statutory manager:

All functions, powers and duties of the board to manage board systems and processes (whether statutory or otherwise);
all functions, powers and duties of the board as an employer (whether statutory or otherwise); and
all functions, powers and duties of the board for curriculum and assessment management responsibilities (whether statutory or otherwise).

The limited statutory manager must also advise the board on financial matters.

This notice takes effect on the date of publication.

Under section 78M of the Education Act 1989, with delegated authority from the Minister of Education, I hereby direct the appointment of a limited statutory manager for the Takanini School (1523) Board of Trustees.

The following functions, powers and duties of the board are to be vested in a limited statutory manager:

All functions, powers and duties of the board as an employer (whether statutory or otherwise); and
all functions, powers and duties of the board to manage health and safety responsibilities (whether statutory or otherwise).

A limited statutory manager must also advise the board on curriculum management, and board systems and processes and property related matters.

This notice takes effect on the day of publication.

Notice of Payment into Victims’ Claims Trust Account

Take notice that, pursuant to Part 2 of the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005, compensation awarded to Shannon Church is required to be paid to the Secretary of Justice and the surplus after deductions is to be held in trust on behalf of Shannon Church.

And that on 9 December 2015, $4,000.00 was paid into the victims’ claims trust account on behalf of Shannon Church.

This money must be held in the trust account to enable any victims of Shannon Church to make claims against it.

Any person that has been a victim of Shannon Church, in respect of an offence for which Shannon Church was convicted in a Court of New Zealand, is entitled to make a claim against the money held in the trust account on behalf of Shannon Church.
