NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE, No. 128 — 26 NOVEMBER 2015

a. Canterbury negotiation period means the period up to and including 30 November 2015, applying to the Canterbury region, being the period referred to in section 11(2)(b) of the Act, within which the Crown must use its best endeavours to negotiate and enter into a regional agreement that provides for the Crown to meet its obligations in respect of new space for that region.

b. Southland negotiation period means the period up to and including 30 November 2015, applying to the Southland region, being the period referred to in section 11(2)(b) of the Act, within which the Crown must use its best endeavours to negotiate and enter into a regional agreement that provides for the Crown to meet its obligations in respect of new space for that region.

c. Wellington negotiation period means the period up to and including 5 December 2015, applying to the Wellington region, being the period referred to in section 11(2)(b) of the Act, within which the Crown must use its best endeavours to negotiate and enter into a regional agreement that provides for the Crown to meet its obligations in respect of new space for that region.

d. Region has the same meaning as in section 4 of the Act.

  1. Extension to Canterbury and Southland negotiation periods—Under section 11(3) of the Act, the Canterbury and Southland negotiation periods referred to in clauses 2(a) and 2(b) of this notice are extended to 30 November 2016.

  2. Extension to Wellington negotiation period—Under section 11(3) of the Act, the Wellington negotiation period referred to in clause 2(c) of this notice is extended to 30 April 2016.

Officers of the NZ Transport Agency Authorised to Take Statutory Declarations

Pursuant to section 9(1)(i) of the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957 ("the Act"), I hereby authorise the holders for the time being of the following offices in the employment of the NZ Transport Agency to take statutory declarations under the Act:

  • Certification and Licensing Manager.
  • Commercial Transport Manager.
  • Commercial Transport Advisor.
  • Regional Administrator.
  • National Manager Workplace Services.
  • Manager Workplace Services.
  • Workplace Specialist.

I also hereby revoke all such previous authorisations granted to employees of the NZ Transport Agency.

Turakina Māori Girls’ College (194) Closure Notice

Pursuant to section 12 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, I hereby declare that Turakina Māori Girls’ College (194), Marton, will close on 27 January 2016 and will cease to be established on that day.
