Call for Waste Advisory Board Nominations

Pursuant to section 93 of the Waste Minimisation Act 2008 ("the Act"), the Minister for the Environment is seeking nominations for Waste Advisory Board members.

This Board provides independent advice to the Minister for the Environment on matters relating to the Act, and waste minimisation more generally.

In appointing members, the Minister must consider the need for the Board to have available collective knowledge, skills, and experience relating to: the Act; matters that are likely to come before the Board; local government; business/industry, including the commercial waste industry; community projects for waste minimisation; and tikanga Māori.

Nominations close at 12.00 midday on Friday 18 December 2015.
