Notice of Meeting of Creditors
Pursuant to Section 243 of the Companies Act 1993
We, Malcolm Grant Hollis and Maurice George Noone, chartered accountants of Christchurch, were appointed joint and several liquidators of MERCATO LIMITED (in liquidation) by the shareholders, pursuant to section 241(2)(a) of the Companies Act 1993 (“the Act”), on 2 April 2015.
A meeting of creditors will be held at Level 22, PwC Tower, 188 Quay Street, Auckland, on Tuesday 24 November 2015 commencing at 2.30pm.
The business to be transacted at the meeting is to:
a. update creditors on the progress of the liquidation and to discuss any future actions to be taken by the liquidators; and
b. appoint a liquidation committee if creditors desire.
The following resolution will be submitted to the meeting:
Resolution A – That a liquidation committee be appointed to act with the liquidator.
Creditors may exercise their right to vote by being present in person, or by appointing a proxy or by postal vote.
Proxies and postal votes, which must be received no later than 1.30pm on Thursday 19 November 2015, should be sent to MERCATO LIMITED (in liquidation), c/o PwC, PO Box 13244, Christchurch 8053. Attention: Libby Huisman.
