  1. Pursuant to section 6L(1) of the Conservation Act 1987, section 95 of the Te Rarawa Claims Settlement Act 2015, section 82 of the Te Aupouri Claims Settlement Act 2015, section 81 of the Ngāti Kuri Claims Settlement Act 2015, and section 78 of the NgāiTakoto Claims Settlement Act 2015, I hereby establish the Te Hiku o Te Ika Conservation Board (“the Board”), with effect from 17 December 2015.

  2. Pursuant to section 95(2)(a) of the Te Rarawa Claims Settlement Act 2015, section 82(2)(a) of the Te Aupouri Claims Settlement Act 2015, section 81(2)(a) of the Ngāti Kuri Claims Settlement Act 2015, and section 78(2)(a) of the NgāiTakoto Claims Settlement Act 2015, I hereby advise that the area of jurisdiction of the Board is the korowai area shown on the plan included in the individual deeds of settlement.

Maree Zinzley, Manager Approvals Operations of the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI), acting under delegated authority from the Director-General of MPI, gives notice, under section 14(1) of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997 (“the Act”), that the following application has been made to register a trade name product under section 9(1) of the Act:

Active Ingredients and Concentrations:

Fluazinam plus 200g/L
Pyrimethanil 320g/L

Formulation Type: Suspension Concentrate

General Use Claim:

For botrytis, downy mildew and phomopsis (dead arm) control in grapes.
For neck rot (botrytis) control in onions.

Any person may make a written submission to the director-general concerning this application.

Under sections 16 and 17 of the Act, a written submission:

a. must state in full the reasons for making the submission; and
b. may state any decision sought on that application; and
c. must be received by the director-general no later than 30 working days after the date of notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Under section 18 of the Act, a copy of every submission will be forwarded to the applicant for the applicant’s information.
