Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Jessica Enoka, Land Information New Zealand:

Pursuant to section 20, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for road and shall vest in the Whangarei District Council;

Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portions of road adjoining or passing through the land described in the Second and Third Schedules to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 120(3):
- The area described in the Second Schedule to this notice amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register 655447; and
- the area described in the Third Schedule to this notice amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register 655448
on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, I, Lieutenant General The Right Honourable Sir Jerry Mateparae, Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the First Schedule to be taken for road and the land described in the Second Schedule to be taken for the functioning indirectly of a road (segregation 47).
